Meet the team

Clinical excellence is essential for great medical outcomes, but it is not sufficient. We believe that the bond of trust between doctor and patient, lost in recent times, needs to be rebuilt. It is this commitment to service that ultimately translates into great experiences for our patients.

I was born and brought up in Delhi, and you’ll know me as the colorful Indian doctor in the practice. I believe fervently in primary care and all that it stands for -- the management of acute and chronic issues, preventative medicine, and health education. I want you to see me as a champion and as a supporter in your quest for physical and emotional well-being. Before co-founding Atrium with Julie, I was the Medical Director of Yaffe, Ruden & Associates on the Upper East Side. I received by MD in Internal Medicine from Mt Sinai in NYC.

I came to the U.S. in 1993 and went to Medical School at New York Institute of Technology and completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY. I have 2 passions in my life—medicine and my family. I also enjoy music, dancing, and reading.
