Meet the team

Clinical excellence is essential for great medical outcomes, but it is not sufficient. We believe that the bond of trust between doctor and patient, lost in recent times, needs to be rebuilt. It is this commitment to service that ultimately translates into great experiences for our patients.

SHILPA PARADKAR, MD

I was born and brought up in Delhi, and you'll know me as the colorful Indian doctor in the practice. I believe fervently in primary care and all that it stands for -- the management of acute and chronic issues, preventative medicine, and health education. I want you to see me as a champion and as a supporter in your quest for physical and emotional well-being. Before co-founding Atrium with Julie, I was the Medical Director of Yaffe, Ruden & Associates on the Upper East Side. I received by MD in Internal Medicine from Mt Sinai in NYC.

I was born in Pikalevo, Russia, but grew up in Siberia. I came to the U.S. in 1993 and went to Medical School at New York Institute of Technology and completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY. I have 2 passions in my life: medicine and my family. I also enjoy music, dancing, and reading.

Austin Hampton

Hello! I am a board certified Physician Assistant (PA). I earned my B.A in Biology at the University of Colorado before completing my PA program at Baylor College of Medicine. My education within the Texas Medical Center refined my passion for providing quality primary care. I love meeting new patients and helping them achieve their personal healthcare goals. My healthcare interests include family medicine and LGBTQ+ focused primary care. In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball in my league, watching tennis, going to concerts, and painting in my spare time.

Maggie Zhou

I was born in NYC and spent some of my childhood in the south but eventually found my way back in NYC where I received my B.S. in Physician Assistant studies at St. John's University. Since a very young age, I've happily been the "caretaker" of my family, especially for my grandmother; this has continued to motivate me to become a more compassionate and empathetic healthcare provider who promotes physical and emotional wellness.
